* Good transport links This is one key factor that draws renters of any age. Did you know that 3 out of 4 tenants wouldn’t buy their own property if it meant giving up their short commute times.

* Local amenities Most people prefer havinga mix of retail and recreational facilities close by. This is why we like areas like Brighton and Portsmouth, where a number of residents don’t own their own transport, especially students.

* Property layout, size and position and the potential for future development.

* Employment opportunities We look at underlying employer demand, source of local talent and a local economy that is expanding. These factors help drive demand for properties as well as prices.
